Originally from Massachusetts, Siena relocated to the Twin Cities to join Minnesota Opera’s prestigious Resident Artist Program. Recognized for her arresting character portrayals and adeptness with interpreting new repertoire, Siena is a frequent collaborator workshopping and premiering new works, most recently with Minnesota Opera, Yale University, Really Spicy Opera, and OOPS MN, a non-profit she founded during the pandemic. She holds degrees from Indiana University where she studied with Carol Vaness.

Mindful Melodies is a profound collection of 16 songs that relate to the theme of Mindfulness and Meditation performed by Siena Forest and Mary Jo Gothmann.
The songs are grouped into four categories: Nature, Relationship, Resistance, and Death.
Before each section, Siena gives a brief introduction and a tool for you to put into practice in order to return to an embodied immediacy in the present moment.
